Try a Branson Condo For Your Summer Vacation

It is no secret that Branson, Missouri, is a super place to have your summer vacation. It has some of everything – music, food, lakes, hiking, shows, shopping, animals – and that is just to name a few! Branson also boasts some really fantastic area lodging – you will find everything from cheap motel rooms to cabins to penthouse suites here in the Live Entertainment Capital of the Midwest. But you won’t find better lodging anywhere than at Thousand Hills Hotel and Golf Resort! Thousand Hills offers numerous lodging options (and of course, has a superb golf course!). But one of the most popular is their condos – and here are three reasons why you should call Thousand Hills today to book a Branson condo for your summer vacation!

1-bedroom-condos-branson-kitchenLocation, Location, Location: You will quickly find that Thousand Hills condos are conveniently located in the heart of Branson – so you and your family will be close to everything! Just minutes from The Strip, you can quickly get around town to some great eat stops (Florentinas Italian Restaurant and Panera Bread are just around the corner), mini golf courses (watch for the giant dinosaur!), attractions (not far to go to find the water park at Grand Country Inn) and shopping (unique shops abound here in Branson). You are also just a few steps away from an award winning golf course when you stay in a Thousand Hills Branson condo – and the pro shop will provide you with all of your golfing needs, in the event that you didn’t remember to pack your own clubs! And while the Thousand Hills condos are set in such a dynamic location here in Branson, you don’t have to worry about traffic noise – you will find that your condo is quiet and peaceful when you are ready to rest after a day around town.

Amenities: Thousand Hills likes to make sure that their guests are as comfortable staying in a condo (or hotel room or cabin!) as they are in their own home. That is why you will get such great amenities with your Branson condo stay! Each condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen, for those nights when you want to eat in. You will also find all major appliances, like washers and dryers, and plenty of detergent. There is a television in every room in the condos, as well as cable TV and DVD players for your viewing pleasure. You will have your own private patio or deck, to enjoy those warm summer evenings, and a Jacuzzi tub, and even access to a swimming pool!

Size: Different people who vacation in Branson have different sized groups and lodging needs – and Thousand Hills delivers. You will find a Branson condo to fit any size group or family – and many condos have the option of upgrading to the Platinum Experience! The smallest condo available sleeps two and prices start at $95 per night. The largest condo available can sleep twelve, and prices start at $341 per night.

These are not the only reason to stay in a Branson condo – but you will just have to book one for your summer vacation and experience it for yourself!

Ripley’s Believe It or Not – An Out of the Ordinary Attraction

Robert Ripley was a cartoonist, explorer, reporter, adventurer, illustrator, collector, and enthusiast of the odd and unusual. He spent part of his lifetime traveling the world, including India and the farthest corners of the Orient, where he fell in love with China. He picked up an extensive collection of oddities and stories while he was there. It was Ripley’s flamboyance and odd nature that made him such a character. Today, Ripley’s legacy lives on in Ripley’s Believe It or Not museums like the one in Branson, Missouri.

Ripleys Believe it or Not in BransonThe museums got their name from one of Ripley’s sports cartoons that was originally called “Champs and Chumps,” but was renamed “Believe It or Not!” Ripley’s travels fed the cartoon fire. Now, the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Odditorium in Branson is home to a widely varied collection of strange exhibits and artifacts. The building even adds to the strangeness of the museum! The architecture of the building reflects the worst earthquake in the history of the United States, which actually occurred in New Madrid, Missouri, and even made church bells ring in Pennsylvania. Inside the Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum, there are over 400 artifacts and exhibits to see, including a playing card replica of the Roman Colosseum, a model of the U.S.S. Forrestal made out of 48,000 matchsticks, a vampire killing kit, the human unicorn from Manchuria, shrunken heads and more.

You get to tour the museum at your own pace and explore at your leisure. The recommended time allotment is between 1 and 1 ½ hours. Ripley’s encourages photos and videos and also asks you to share your experience on their website when you’re finished with your vacation. Tickets for this well-known attraction are $17.99 for adults, $9.99 for children ages 4-12, and children 3 and under are free. To order tickets, visit ripleys.com/branson or call 417-337-5300. You can also get your tickets that day when you come to the museum, so make sure to get the odd and unusual of Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum on your list of must sees in Branson.
