Riders are seated in individual carts that are pulled to the top via chain similar to traditional roller coasters. Other portions to the former ride can still be found in the surrounding area, such as an old Buzz Saw Falls car struck in the roof of the first building, and a piece of old Buzz Saw track sticking out of the queue building’s roof.

Thunderation is another steel roller coaster at Silver Dollar City that opened in 1993. The coaster was developed by Arrow Dynamics and manufactured by International Lift, Inc. The Thunderation is propelled by gravity to reach the coaster’s only lift. Then the lift carries passengers 121 feet into the air before dropping them 81 feet at speeds up to 48 mph. The runaway mine train takes a spiraling drop and races through an underground tunnel before returning to the loading station.
