Busiek State Forest. Having the most beautiful forests is one thing that Branson is proud of. The Busiek State Forest and Wildlife Area is located directly off of Highway 76 in the Mark Twain National Forest. This forest perfectly showcases the rugged landscape of southwest Missouri. The whole family will certainly love this forest as it offers various activities like hiking, trail riding, bird watching, or simply falling in love with the wondrous sights that nature has to offer you. Busiek State Forest has different trails of varying degrees of length and difficulty, making it a perfect hiking site for the professional hikers and for those who are just trying out hiking. These trails are also marked for easy navigation, as they have shortcuts and loops back on other trails. You can also try horseback riding in Busiek State Forest. The Silver Trail is one of the most challenging trails to horseback riding on because of its large rocks and almost vertical uphill slope. But even though it is hard, the view from the top of the trail is totally worth it. There is also the Red Trail, which is a bit shorter and not as strenuous compared to the Silver Trail, for those who just want a breezy horseback ride. All of the trails in Busiek State Forest has obstacles like creek crossing, rocks, fallen trees, mud holes, and wildlife encounters to make you feel like a legit adventurer for a day!

Inspiration Tower. This is the place to go when you want to see everything that Branson wants you to see. The Inspiration Tower at Shepherd of the Hills gives you an inspiring 360 degree view of the Ozarks – a magical sight to behold. After all, this is the second highest point in all of Missouri, so you can see all the way across the state line into Arkansas on a clear day. This tower stands 230-foot tall and has been inspiring people for many years now. During the Christmas season, the tower is decorated to be a giant Christmas tree with thousands of Christmas lights. On the ground level of the tower, there also a souvenir shop so you can purchase mementos to remember your adventure at the Inspiration Tower forever. At the top of the tower is the starting point of the Vigilante Extreme ZipRider, a ride not for the faint-hearted and for the daredevils only. The riders will be strapped in and then sent down a half mile at 50 miles per hour. If you decide to try this, make sure to catch the breathtaking view on the ride down!

The Track Family Fun Park. If you are looking for speed and adventure at the same time, head on to the Track Family Fun Parks! For Go-Kart riders, this is your haven since it has the standard classic Go-Kart tracks and also extreme tracks like the Wild Woody and the Lumberjack. For those who are looking for other activities than karting, this park also has Bumper Cars and Bumper Boats with water cannons. There is also a Mini Golf, Laser Tag, and arcades to entertain the kids and to bring out the kid in you. For more thrills in this park, try the Ozark Skycoaster – a 100-foot tall super swing that combines skydiving and hang gliding into one ride.
