Stone Hill Winery

Stone Hill Winery in Branson, Missouri.

Stone Hill Winery is full of rich American History.

Before 1900 Stone Hill Winery held eight world fair gold medals including one from Vienna and Philadelphia. However, in 1920 Stone Hill Winery closed it doors due to the advancement of Prohibition. What once were the largest cellars for wine production in America, suddenly turned into a mushroom farm. In the mid 1960's Stone Hill Winery returned back to the art of making wine and now is one of Branson premier attractions and the oldest winery in Missouri. Three of the children who brought back Stone Hill have degrees in enology and viticulture.

The Stone Hill Winery uses French-American hybrid grapes such as Vidal, Seyval and Vignoles. These grapes compare closely to Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Stone Hill Winery had helped bring Missouri back into one of Americas leading wine producers.

The Stone Hill Winery Branson offers a guided tour of sparkling wines and sherry. Sparkling wines are America's version of Champagne. In order for a sparkling wine to be called Champagne, it must be born in the Champagne region of France. The Branson Facility also offers a video viewing room, gift shop and six tasting rooms. So come to Stone Hill Winery and enjoy a taste of Missouri history.

While visiting the Stone Hill Winery, enjoy a comfortable nights rest at one of our Branson condos or Branson Cabins. Located conveniently in central Branson our accommodations offer warm hospitality and an inner city location that is only minutes away from Branson shows, restaurants, area attractions, shopping and Stone Hill Winery.
