BRANSON,MO (PRWEB) March 14, 2005 — Thousand Hills Golf Resort, a premier recreational destination in Branson, MO, has undergone key improvements to ensure that it remains the most popular course in the Branson area. Enhancements include the addition of golf pro Cliff Easum and a fleet of brand new GPS-enhanced Yamaha golf carts.
Easum, a PGA professional, has significant experience in the development and support of the game for young players. He has received two PGA Growth of the Game Grants, raised over $14,000 in college scholarships, and has taught middle school and grade school children the game through YMCA day camps and Clubs 4 Kids clinics.
“Cliff brings a great deal to Thousand Hills and to Branson golf in general,” said Dan Ruda, owner of Thousand Hills. “He does a lot for the future of the game by teaching kids and helping to raise money for educational opportunities. And he gets the parents involved too, by organizing Parent-Child Mini-Nine leagues. It’s really great for the kids when Mom and Dad get involved.” To date, Easum has taught over 2000 middle school and grade school children about the game of golf.
Thousand Hills’ new GPS-enhanced golf carts will provide a whole new level of convenience to golfers at in Branson. Using a built-in GPS receiver which provides specifics of the golf cart’s position in relation to the course, the system shows golfers the exact distance to the center of the green.
“Our course also features Zoysia fairways and tees, and Crenshaw Bentgrass greens. If you’re looking for a course that will test your skills, no other Branson golf course delivers like Thousand Hills does,” Ruda said.
