Hole 12 at Thousand Hills Golf Course | Thousandhills.com
Hole 12
Yards: 135 Par: 3 Handicap: 18
Accuracy and club selection are necessary on this short 3 par. The green is perched above Wildwood creek on the left and is bunkered on the left, right and behind. The green is divided by rolls and tiers, placing a premium on hitting the ball to the correct section. If not, the contour will produce some of the most interesting putting on the course.
HOLE 12, SHOT 1>>
Hi, my name is Matt Dillman, head golf professional here at Thousand Hills Golf Resort in beautiful Branson Missouri. I am on the 12th tee, 137 yard par 3 severely down hill. What I got here is a left pin placement down in a little bowl right over a little ridge. How I am going to play this is towards the middle of the green and maybe just hit a little draw in there. Maybe it will hit and go towards the hole. Let’s see if I can make a birdie here. The ball didn’t hook as much as I thought it would but I am still on the green and have that birdie putt.

Approaching my shot on number 12, I noticed that it did catch the ridge and it did funnel toward the hole, leaving myself about 5 feet. I’ve got a real slight downhill put and it is going to be fast so I am going to get it going and head straight for the cup. I don’t think there is any break in it. Birdie on number 12.
