Jimmy Stafford is known to be a one-man band. But before he even started becoming who he is today, he was a little boy with a dream, a talent, and a passion for music. Being born to a musical family, when he was a kid, he started playing the guitar with his father.  It surely did not stop there; he played in his first band, called The Legends, when he reached the age of 14. Soon enough, at the age of 16, he started making a living for himself. Knowing in himself that he can do more, he moved to Nashville after graduation and became the backup singer for Jumpin’ Bill Carlisle. His journey to success was not a piece of cake because he wasn’t signed on with MGM records until he recorded a song he wrote named “Swamp Witch”. After it was released and became a top 40 hit in 1973, he released another song, “Spiders & Snakes”, a year after and went gold.

Today, Jim Stafford continues to entertain people in the Jim Stafford Theater. Being known as a one-man band, he can perform music and comedy at the same time, with more than one musical instruments under his control. Truly a master of his trade, he can play the guitar and drums both at the same time. And what’s more interesting this year is that he has added one more guitar to complete his act. Jim Stafford with his kids can transform any ordinary night and make guests from all over the country have a unique experience in his theater. The shows begin in January and end in December to make sure that you won’t miss them anytime of the year.
