The Last Stretch of the White Flight

white-flightDo you want to make your January the most magical month of the year? If you do, then all you need is to head out to Branson to catch the many events and adventures that it offers everyone. Branson is very much well known for its live music shows, concerts, and theater plays. It is also famous for providing the best entertainment with its unique concepts like the Showboat Branson Belle, and Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede. Aside from these indoor attractions, Branson also gives you the best outdoor adventures!

One such place that you can go to for an outdoor getaway is the Butterfly Palace and Rainforest Adventure. Experience how it is to be immersed in a rainforest with all the gifts of nature. Appreciate nature by immersing yourself in this safari right here in Branson. The Butterfly Palace and Rainforest Adventure serves as a habitat to hundreds of species of butterflies, each having their own specially designed aviary. The environment in The Butterfly Palace mimics the conditions of the natural habitat for the butterflies, too. The Butterfly Palace not only lets you see a wide array of butterflies, but also other species of birds and exotic plants. There is also nothing to worry since The Butterfly Palace’s butterflies were imported under the regulations and guidelines of the USDA.

Aside from the butterfly aviary in this nature park, there is also the Living Rainforest Science Center and the Emerald Forest Mirror Maze that people of all ages will surely enjoy. Walk into the Living Rainforest Science Center and see different rainforest creatures like salamanders, poison dart frogs, giant cockroaches and many more! This will also let the kids be exposed to the myriad of animals existing in rainforests that they don’t normally see in books. The Living Rainforest Science Center is also a big ecosystem. Other activities in this Science Center are using a light microscope, and watching a frog dissection. The Emerald Forest Mirror Maze, on the other hand, is a fun activity for kids and adults. It is basically a maze, and the challenge for you is to find your way out. Try this and see if you can get out of this challenging maze.

The highlight of The Butterfly Palace this January is the White Flight. The White Flight is a holiday display of many white butterflies, an 18-foot poinsettia Christmas tree, living statues of angels, along with some good ol’ holiday songs. This event in The Butterfly Palace runs only until January 15, 2014 so you better catch it to experience this magical moment. Keep the holiday spirit burning in you as you celebrate your last hurrah for the holidays in The Butterfly Palace’s White Flight!

The Butterfly Palace is open from 9 AM to 5 PM daily. Experience White Flight now before it ends!
