One of the main rides in Silver Dollar City is the Outlaw Run, which is known to be the world’s most daring wood coaster. It is one of the world’s firsts with its features, including an 81 degree drop – the steepest drop on a wooden coaster- and it is the only wooden coaster to have an upside down twist and a 720-degree double barrel roll. The Outlaw Run was just completed this 2013 and is the newest addition to the already jam-packed thrills in Silver Dollar City. This ride in Silver Dollar City is currently breaking records and is now the second fastest coaster in the world, running at speeds up to 68 miles per hour! You have to try the Outlaw Run to experience an adrenaline rush and live to tell the tale that you have conquered the world’s most daring coaster.

Another ride in Silver Dollar City that is worth featuring is the Powder Keg. This ride launches from 0 to 53 miles per hour in just 3 seconds using a compressed air-launch with spiraling turns, and it also reaches speeds up to 64 miles per hour. The initial blast and 110-foot drop will send you soaring through the Ozarks sceneries of over 6 acres. When riding the Powder Keg, also get to know the story behind the concept used to develop this ride.

Silver Dollar City also boasts of its restaurants. In fact, “Amusement Today” has named Silver Dollar City food as one of the best theme park food in America. The park also features restaurants like Eva and Delilah’s Bakery, Aunt Polly’s, Buckshot Annie’s Skillet Cookery, and The Ribhouse.
