In Silver Dollar City, there are about six world class festivals that are held yearly to entertain visitors of all ages. These festivals include the World-Fest and the Bluegrass and BBQ Festival which are both international events held between the months of April and May. The National Kids Fest is celebrated from June through August by young visitors. The celebration of Southern Gospel Picnic is held from late August through early September. The National Harvest Festival is celebrated from mid-September to late October.
