Branson’s Skyline Landmarks

Branson, Missouri, the Live Entertainment Capital of the Midwest, is known for some pretty well known venues and attractions.  Some of these attractions happen to be very noticeable landmarks on the Branson skyline!  Chances are, you’ve seen some of them when you are out and about driving down Highway 76 Country Music Boulevard – also known as The Strip!

The Titanic Museum: The Titanic in Branson is a hard Branson skyline attraction to miss – located on Highway 76, it is literally a massive ship parked on the edge of the road.  Designed to look like the tragically famous steamer herself, the Titanic museum will make you feel as though you’re standing on a dock, ready to board for adventure.  If the architecture doesn’t catch your eye, the large water feature at the front of the ship surely will!  With a pond, fountain and replicated iceberg, it appears that the Titanic is moving through the water on her way to meet her fate.  Inside the museum, you’ll find interactive tours and galleries, and one of the largest collections of artifacts in the Midwest.

Pasghetti’s:   For a tasty dining experience inside one of Branson’s skyline landmarks, visit Pasghetti’s Restaurant!  If you think you might not be able to find it, don’t worry – the giant green pepper, tomato and fork mounted on the side of the building are massive enough to be in the Guinness Book of World Records!  This Branson dining option on Highway 76 is a fun and exciting Italian experience.  Authentic pasta and salads, plus a classy wine bar all contribute to this restaurant’s appeal. Favorites like Chicken Alfredo, Pasta Carbonara and Basil Shrimp Pesto plus more can all be found at Pasghettis.

Hollywood Wax Museum: Branson’s Hollywood Wax Museum, opened in the 1990s and located on Highway 76, is a difficult attraction to miss, what with a replica similar to Mount Rushmore but with Hollywood stars instead of presidents (known as ‘Mt. Hollywood’ and one of the most photographed landmarks in Branson) located right next to the building.  You might also spot King Kong dangling from the top of a skyscraper above the museum!  The wax museum is one of the only museums in the Midwest devoted entirely to celebrity figures, and it is without question one of the most popular attractions in Branson.  The Hollywood Wax Museum originally began as a family business and has now exploded into an internationally known entertainment company.

Branson Ferris Wheel: One of Branson’s newest attractions is the Navy Pier Ferris Wheel that is now making it’s home in Branson.  The wheel has made it to The Track Family Fun Parks, its new owners, and assembly of the wheel will begin once construction workers have built a strong foundation for this skyline-altering attraction.  The Branson Ferris Wheel is capable of holding up to 240 passengers in 40 cars, and is 150 feet tall!  This new attraction will really be eye-catching twinkling with over 16,000 lights right off of Highway 76.

The Great American Steak and Chicken House:  This restaurant is certainly not ‘chicken’ about contributing to the Branson skyline!  Located along Highway 76, you can’t help but notice their barn shaped restaurant and world famous giant 43 -foot chicken statue situated outside the door.  Stop in for delicious eats like cooked to order steak, fried chicken, bacon cheese fries, grilled chicken nachos, onion haystacks, fried green tomatoes and more.

Be sure to watch for these and other eye catching Branson skyline attractions on The Strip!
