Branson Table Rock Lake: A Different Kind of Fun

Table-Rock-Lake    Let Us Be Your Home on the Lake

The Branson Table Rock Lake is a collection of lakes that were created with the completion of the Table Rock Dam in the year 1958. Offering its guest 52, 000 acres of exciting water fun, its creation is not as simple as it seems. The Table Rock Lake is in the Branson Trilakes Area and the history of this lake is dated back to the history of building of the dam.

Before the construction of the Table Rock Dam, it was supposed to be located at Table Rock Mountain. Unfortunately, geological surveys and investigations revealed that the site for construction was unstable and thus, unsuitable for the dam. The dam was relocated across The White River. But even if it was relocated, the “Table Rock” in its original name was not omitted.

The Branson Table Rock Lakes began to fill during the completion of the dam. The dam was constructed primarily for flood control, hydroelectric power, and water supply. And the Table Rock Lake’s primary purpose was for electricity generation since it was a link in a chain of power-producing stations that provide power to about seven million end-use customers in six states. It is truly amazing how the lake is so useful. And it’s not just functional, it’s fun too!

The Table Rock Lake is open to guests and they can surely do a whole lot of things and activities in the lake. They can hop aboard the Showboat Branson Belle that will take then on a cruise with elegant dining, live entertainment, and beautiful scenery to explore the lake. Besides that, Table Rock Lake is also an excellent site for fishing! Largemouth & smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish are just a few of the many you fishes you can catch in the lake. And if you want more, you could also check below the dam because the water of Lake Taneycomo changed from warm to cold that became the perfect habitzt for Trout.

If you are very much interested in spending your vacation at the Table Rock Lake, worry no more for there are over 100 resorts you could choose from and many are located on the Kimberling City. And if you ask me, majority of the vacationers still choose to stay at the Branson side of Table Rock Lake. And when you’re in Branson, you know what resort to call!

Staying at the lake would definitely require some quality boating. Visitors can choose whether to operate a boat or let a cruise operate it for them. There are 3 commercial boat cruises or rides that operate on Table Rock Lake, which have full-service Marinas at various locations to provide good service and convenience to boaters. And for the best choice for any type of water craft rentals, the State Park Marina is there. And believe me when they say that they have everything for you.

The Branson trilakes area recognises the Table Rock Lake as one of its crown jewels. It has been there drawing tourists from all over the globe. And even if Branson has opened and closed many attractions already, the Table Rock Lake just keeps on getting more popular than ever!
