The Dewey Short Visitors Center is a museum located directly off of Highway 165 next to the Table Rock Dam. The museum imparts the vision of the Congressman to the visitors and also features the events that took place when the dam was being built.

Looking deeper into the Dewey Short Visitors Center, it is a modern-style building near the shores of the lake. It has an outdoor viewing deck, a walking path, and a small rock garden with a wooden bridge.
