Branson Breakfast Options for Early Risers

lonestar-steakhouseFor years, moms have told their kids that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. After all, it does kick-start your morning. For some people, finding a good breakfast away from home is important, and that’s why Branson has a number of options to help you find some of the best restaurant breakfasts in town.

A personal favorite for a Branson breakfast is Clockers Café, located at 103 South Commercial Street in downtown Branson. This is the café where my dad and I enjoyed breakfast when he helped me move into a college dorm room. This little café serves up eggs, bacon, ham, hashbrowns, omelets, and a variety of other breakfast options. Breakfasts start at around $7 – $8, and are always served hot. They are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. In addition to great breakfast, Clockers also serves lunch and dinner, which includes dishes like turkey melts and chicken tenders, along with a variety of home-style dishes. You’ll enjoy your meal in a quaint atmosphere with friendly wait staff, and you’ll definitely enjoy the food!

Another one of Branson’s best breakfasts comes from The Farmhouse Restaurant. Located at 119 North Main Street, also in downtown Branson, the Farmhouse is known for having outstanding home-style cooking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Farmhouse serves a variety of breakfast options and you can order breakfast any time of day. While you’re there, you can check out the gift shop upstairs. They have a variety of unique home décor items as well as gifts for those people that already have everything else. The Farmhouse Restaurant is open Monday through Thursday, as well as Sunday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and open on Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Branson locals also enjoy The Shack Café, located in downtown Branson at 108 South Commercial Street. This local eatery serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast options include everything from hotcakes and biscuits and gravy to eggs, ham, and omelets. The Shack is also known for its pies with “mile-high meringue” in classic flavors like chocolate, peanut butter, and lemon. Fried chicken, country fried steak, burgers, meatloaf, and a variety of other sandwiches are on the menu for lunch and dinner, and visitors have raved about the Shack’s delicious meals.

The final location for great breakfast is a chain restaurant, but still a delicious one. In the Branson area, Denny’s is a great place to grab breakfast. With a variety of options that go outside the norm, you can get breakfast any time of day. A favorite breakfast entrée is Moons over My Hammy, a delicious sandwich with ham, eggs, American and Swiss cheeses. They have options for the health conscious with their “Fit Fare” menu. In addition to breakfast, Denny’s has lunch and dinner options as well, including burgers, salads, sandwiches, soups, and even steaks and fish and chips. If you’re looking for something fast and easy, visit Denny’s for a fabulous breakfast, any time of day, 24 hours a day.

Whether you enjoy breakfast in the middle of the day or you’re just following Mom’s age old advice, check out any of these great Branson locations for scrumptious breakfasts that will get your morning started on the right foot.
