The Many Faces of Table Rock Lake
Approximately 2 million visitors come to the Branson area every year. Some are even return visitors who are looking for something new and exciting to do. One of Branson’s treasures for vacationers is the pristine Table Rock Lake. From boating to swimming, you can easily find a way to spend an exciting day on the lake water skiing or relaxing on a pontoon boat. Whatever your preference, Table Rock Lake is the perfect playground for your summer fun.
For boating and water sport enthusiasts, there are numerous marinas located around the lake for your convenience. If you’re staying in Branson, What’s Up Dock, Port of Kimberling Marina, and Baxter’s Boat Dock are within an hour’s drive. Water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing are just some of the options that are available to vacationers enjoying Table Rock Lake’s pristine waters. Boat operators on Table Rock Lake are required to take a boating safety course and carry a Water Patrol issued card that proves that the course was taken and passed. For vacationers, a temporary 30 day permit can be obtained without the boating safety course. To take an online course, visit www.boat-ed.com/mo.
Fishermen also flock to Table Rock Lake for the abundant numbers of bass and lunkers. There is a large variety of species that live in the lake though, including crappie, blue gill, flat head catfish, walleye, and sun fish. In the springtime, the fish spend a majority of their time near the bases of old cedar trees. Catches at this time of year are especially plentiful if you fish Table Rock Lake.
Dining options are also available on Table Rock Lake in addition to the many restaurant options in Branson. Coyote’s Dockside Café and Pub is located at What’s Up Dock Marina in Kimberling City. After some time on the boat, Coyote’s is a great place to grab lunch. Coyote’s has whatever you’re hungry for – burgers, pasta, ribs, chicken, sandwiches, wraps, and other specialties. Lakeside Resort, Restaurant, and General Store is another great option, offering pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, and sweet treats for the sweet tooth. Lakeside Restaurant is located in Branson West, right on Table Rock Lake’s banks.
To make the lake area even more appealing, all of the boating, fishing, watersports, and lakefront lodgings are just minutes from all that Branson has to offer. Shopping, shows, dining, and other attractions are easily accessible to visitors staying in one of Table Rock Lake’s luxurious condos, vacation homes, or other lodgings. You can easily get to what you need when staying on the lake.
Your vacation is sure to be relaxing when you stay in one of Table Rock Lakes many condos, cabins, or cottages.
