Silver Dollar City Brings Back The National Harvest Festival
Once again, Silver Dollar City, the Home of American Craftsmanship welcomes crafters, creators and visitors alike to the National Harvest Festival.
Featuring events like The Timberworks Lumberjack Show, Chalk Street Artists, A 50-Ton Sand Sculpture, Professional Pumpkin Carving and many other opportunities to meet hundreds of other craftsmen, Silver Dollar City will be a mecca for crafts and food.
Speaking of food, the Master Craftsman of Culinary Arts will be having a live demo of her favorite recipes in the Silver Dollar City's Culinary & Craft School! This is an opportunity to pick up a few tricks and tips that will change your entire kitchen experience!
Many Silver Dollar City restaurants will also be featuring specials, such as the special breakfast buffet from 8:30am, until 11am at Molly's Mill Restaurant. This great meal is available for a limited time through 10/29/2011.
In addition to great crafts and food, the National Harvest Festival will also feature a once-in-a-lifetime special chance to see a performance of "Headin' West" on the Opera House stage for a whole new season. "Headin' West", was winner of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions "Big-E" award for Best Overall Production in 2009. This unforgettable 45 minute musical production will be LIVE and show for you one of the most classic stories of American expansion west in the mid-19th century. Take care to see "Headin' West" at the National Harvest Festival, presented by Silver Dollar City.
