Walk into the Living Rainforest Science Center and see different rainforest creatures like salamanders, poison dart frogs, giant cockroaches and many more! This will also let the kids be exposed to the myriad of animals existing in rainforests that they don’t normally see in books. The Living Rainforest Science Center is also a big ecosystem. Other activities in this Science Center are using a light microscope, and watching a frog dissection. The Emerald Forest Mirror Maze, on the other hand, is a fun activity for kids and adults. The highlight of The Butterfly Palace this January is the White Flight. The White Flight is a holiday display of many white butterflies, an 18-foot poinsettia Christmas tree, living statues of angels, along with some good ol’ holiday songs. This event in The Butterfly Palace runs only until January 15, 2014 so you better catch it to experience this magical moment.
