The start of the months that end in -ber is the signal of colder weather, and in no time winter would be here as well. As the weather changes, Branson, Missouri continues to offer a variety of events to interest every member of every family. And in November, the whole country sees the arrival of American Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving should be a memorable occasion for every family. It is the time of the year when all of us should be thankful for having gone through another year. The Shadow Box can is also there where you can get beautiful quilts, grandfather clocks, custom-made leather apparel, jewelry, and souvenirs.
Branson Scenic Railway
Start-off your trip on the Branson Scenic Railway. It is a 40-mile roundtrip through the Ozark Mountains, which takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. The trip takes you to place that cars and other modes of transportation can’t access, making your trip unique and something you would want to remember. This tour provides you with historical sightseeing plus a conductor that narrates the beautiful places you see. You definitely have to try this because the trains have been renovated and restored to make you feel that you are riding it during the old days that they were actively transporting people, when train travel was at its peak. There are three cars and each car provides a different panoramic view of the jaw-dropping beauty of the Ozark Mountains.
Ride The Ducks
An alternative to the Branson Scenic Railway without sacrificing fun and entertainment is the Branson Ride The Ducks. The Branson Ride The Ducks is one of the most unique Branson attractions that provide fun, adventure, and thrill all in one ride. It is an 80-minute tour along Branson Missouri pathways, with a trek up the beautiful Ozark Mountains, travel along the famous Highway 76 visiting Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery, trip to the pristine Table Rock Dam, and lastly, an exciting finale in true “duck” fashion straight into Table Rock Lake for a lake cruise. After having a tour around Branson, you can visit Branson Theaters that have various shows. These shows have made Branson famous and it still one of the reasons people come here. You might want to try Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede, the Starlite Theater, the Mickey Gilley Theater and the Clay Cooper Theater. There are many different shows to catch while you are there. These include the Crossties Bluegrass and Gospel Show, the Branson Brothers Show, the Branson Divas Show, the Six Show, Number 1 Hits of the '60s, the 4 Ever Motown Show, the Redhead Express Bluegrass Comedy Show and the Moe Bandy Show.
Other than movies, variety shows, and concerts, Branson, Missouri offers both locals and tourists the chance to wander through the town's museums. Check out the Branson Titanic Museum, which is the World's Largest Museum Attraction. You can also be closer to your favorite Hollywood stars and snap a photo or two with then at the Hollywood Wax Museum.
