Visitors to the Branson area have heard about Silver Dollar City’s famous Bluegrass and BBQ festival each spring, but they may not know about a bluegrass act that performs most of the year. Paul Harris and The Cleverlys have been performing before audiences in Branson for two years and are still going strong.

Paul Harris is a comedian hailing from Arkansas, who is not only hilariously funny, but who is also a talented musician. Harris performed at the CMA Music Festival in 2010 and 2011. The Cleverlys are also from Arkansas, and they were named one of the top 10 groups to watch according to Country Music Magazine. Together Paul Harris and The Cleverlys mix comedy with traditional and non-traditional bluegrass music.

Harris’ comedy draws on his roots in Arkansas. His skits feature colorful characters from the general stores in small towns like Omaha, Arkansas. The Cleverlys are a family from Arkansas who became a YouTube sensation after doing covers of popular songs like Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” and Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You.” They have combined bluegrass with pop music. Their pieces make for an interesting genre combination. Aside from their hilarious covers of songs, they also play traditional bluegrass music for those who enjoy their old time bluegrass sound.

Paul Harris and The Cleverlys perform at 7:30 p.m. at The White House Theater. They perform from March to December. Each show has an optional meal served before the performance. Dinner features:
