The National Harvest Festival continues through October at Silver Dollar City. This festival is nationally recognized by the U.S. Congress as helping to preserve the heritage of Americans. During this festival, visitors can watch and learn the techniques of many different kinds of craftsmen from glassblowing to sculpting in unique ways. Visitors can purchase one-of-a-kind handmade arts and crafts and personally meet the artists who crafted them. Silver Dollar City also shows a unique play during the festival that allows visitors to learn about the Ozark legacy and American heritage.

The Bonnie and Clyde Festival occurs on a weekend in mid-October in Branson. Here visitors can chase after these outlaw criminals and celebrate with live music, tasty meals, and shopping opportunities from many vendors. There are also many activities and games for kids of all ages.

For Halloween in Branson, the city transforms into a fantastic Boo-City. There are haunted tours and Duck-rides throughout October. On Halloween night, Branson is a safe city to take the family trick or treating. There are several large business locations that host trick-or-treating opportunities where kids can fill their candy buckets. The factory outlet mall and businesses at Branson’s Landing are two places to visit for this opportunity. There are also Halloween themed plays and parties with costume contests on Halloween night.
