During the early part of the 20th Century, Robert was a famous person in the world as an artist and cartoonist. The phrase “Believe it or not” was actually the name of a sports cartoon that became extremely popular and led him to become a world traveler. As he traveled the world he would seek out odd things to add to his collection and the unique building in Branson holds some of these items of his collection.

It is a reflection of a massive earthquake that hit Missouri in 1812 and caused the Mississippi River to run backwards for three days and made church bells in Philadelphia ring.
